How heretical of me to omit the <O> in C<O>NSUMED. Anyway, this overlay was used when the game had hit a built-in stalemate phase of the game where the eldritch horrors reapplied their grip on the controls of the Reality Show. This led to the unraveling of many plots, and a lot of entertaining chaos.
